GUEST ARRIVAL INFORMATION
Dear Future Guest,
In preparation for your upcoming visit to The Allenhurst Apartments, I’ve outlined below some information that should be helpful.
Feel free to contact Michele directly with any questions at 732-682-6483.
ARRIVAL:
Check in Time is 3 PM unless other arrangements are made directly with Michele, in advance. Please contact her with your approximate arrival time so that she can either meet you personally or make arrangements for a key to be waiting.
HOUSEKEEPING:
We do not provide any housekeeping services during your stay. For those staying longer, we will be happy to arrange for cleaning of your apartment at the rate of $15 an hour. We also have staff available for grocery shopping, child care, etc. Contact Michele in advance.
Tips to the cleaning staff upon departure are appreciated, but not required.
PAYMENT:
For stays of less than 7 days, final payment is to be made in cash or equivalent (money order, cashiers check, etc.). Payments can be made via paypal in advance or in person using your credit/debit card. Please advise Michele if you want to make final payment via credit/debit card upon arrival.
For stays of 7 days or more, final payment can be made via personal check as well as cash or Paypal.
Pet fee of $25 is due upon arrival as well, if applicable.
For new guests, a personal check in the amount of $200 is also required upon check in. This serves as security deposit during your stay. The check is not cashed or deposited, just held in the event of damage, lost keys or beach badges, etc. If not needed, it will be handed back or mailed back to you after check out. This is only required for first time guests. Security deposit is waived for repeat guests.
PETS:
We love Pets here at The Allenhurst but require that they are preventatively treated for fleas before they can join us. Please provide a copy of a vet bill, receipt from PetSmart, picture of your box of Frontline from home, etc. as good-faith “proof” that you treat your pet. You can email this information in advance or bring with you.
If you anticipate needing “pet sitting” or “pet walking” during your visit, contact Michele for a list of dependable people.
TRANSPORTATION & PARKING:
If anyone needs transportation assistance from the airport or other location, I have an licensed, insured private car service driver who lives here in town and is available for airport runs as well as local “taxi” services such as to the grocery store, etc. during your stay. Contact Frank Pescatore at 201-312-8523.
Parking is on-street only with no dedicated parking for our building. There is a handicapped spot right in front but is not restricted for use by our building only. There is a small area in front of the building where folks generally unload then go park – the authorities generally look the other way as long as someone stays with the vehicle.
I recommend stopping at the grocery store before you arrive and minimizing the use of your vehicle whenever possible. Parking during the week (non-holiday week) is generally not bad but weekend parking is very difficult.
